Get Covered by Christian Vivanco
Christian Vivanco’s designs are exercises and tests based around one major theme: people and periphery. Our attractions, our desires and rejections are what make up his thinking and process when working on a piece. Think to yourself “What do I like and why?” This is where Vivanco’s design starts.
The reason he starts here is because people are our friends, neighbors and family. People are ultimately who will see, touch, sit on and interact with his work; the people we see in hotel lobbies, grocery stores or restaurants. His main goal is to create objects that try to evoke a smile in everyone. These are some of the ideas created by Christian Vivanco, if you are interested in them or in new ones don’t hesitate in get in touch with him here.

The W Hotel – Lakeshore, Chicago
A perfect play on the Fire and Ice concept; the interiors at the W Hotel Lakeshore Drive in Chicago offer it’s guests a unique interior experience. The cool tones in the lobby and lounge areas are well mixed with the contemporary furnishings to create a modern vibe well maintaining a comfortable and friendly environment. The restaurant is the antithesis of bringing hot color and style into a dining atmosphere. The courageous use of color and technology in order to create a column of six foot tall fire is design genious.

Top Chef Season 6 at The M Resort in Las Vegas
A couple weeks ago Bravo’s Top Chef, reality competition hit series, featured an episode where the “cheftestants” had to cater a dueling Bachelor and Bachelorette party. The majority of the show was shot in the kitchen but the real action happened at the M resort’s pool and it’s private cabanas. This is actually a smaller pool which is placed privately to a rear location beyond the resort’s more famed Villagio Pool and Bar/Lounge. The pool deck features several cabanas with curtains for privacy and luxurious furnishings. The outdoor lounge seating is sleek and stylish and is begging for you to sit back and relax, enjoy a cocktail, flip through a magazine and enjoy yourself.

The Gage Restaurant in Chicago
Dining at The Gage is like dining in a high class subway station. The high gloss green tiled walls are accented beautifully by the use of a classic black border. The black tile features a great crown molding, which works well with the classic design of the space. Low ceilings and intimate dining rooms create a sense of warmth and familiarity. The space is a great representation of what modern Irish interiors can be.
